Dr. Samuel Sarmiento MD, MPH, MBA — Medical Advisor

Dr. Samuel Sarmiento is a physician, entrepreneur, and clinical outcomes researcher who brings deep healthcare credibility to Five-Star Patient Experience. He completed a general surgery internship at Mayo Clinic, earned MPH and MBA degrees at Johns Hopkins University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine focused on clinical outcomes research.

With a background that blends medicine, public health, and business strategy, Dr. Sarmiento helps ensure the program stays anchored to what matters most in healthcare: communication that supports trust, compliance, and better patient outcomes.

Paul Mason CEO

Paul Mason leads Practice Builders with a focus on execution, growth, and measurable results. After more than 15 years helping medical practices and small businesses grow, he founded Geotarget in 2019, scaling a nationwide video network and helping thousands of businesses deliver targeted video messaging.

Following a 2023 merger with Practice Builders, Paul has focused on combining best-in-class targeting and video with Practice Builders’ strengths in web, reputation, social, content, and SEO to build a world-class growth platform for healthcare practices.

Dan Turi brings an extensive background in broadcast media, advertising, and marketing, with a style that balances strategy and clarity. He is known for building customer-friendly marketing roadmaps and understands healthcare from the inside out, with four doctors in his family.

In Five-Star Patient Experience, Dan helps shape how patient experience standards are communicated, making sure practices can clearly and confidently present their commitment to service.
